Thank you for your interest in the Grassland Restoration Incentive Program.

The Oaks and Prairies Joint Venture and Gulf Coast Joint Venture partner organizations are proud to offer this voluntary financial incentive program to landowners who wish to manage the habitat on their property for the benefit of healthy grassland wildlife species.

If you are a landowner and are interested in enrolling in GRIP…

Your property must be located in an eligible county and you are required to work with a natural resource professional to develop your proposal. To view an interactive map of eligible counties and to find contact information for local natural resource professionals please click here.

If you are a Resource Professional and would like to submit a project proposal on behalf of a cooperating landowner…

Please follow these instructions.
  • Download the GRIP Treatment Details Form.
  • In coordination with the participating landowner fill out the GRIP Treatment Details Form for each treatment area in the proposed project. If your proposed project has more than one treatment area for which you are requesting funding, please fill out a GRIP Treatment Details Form for each and submit as one project.
  • Have the landowner’s contact information ready as you will be asked for it in the proposal.
  • You will also be asked to upload the completed GRIP Treatment Details Form and a map of the project area that clearly shows where treatments are to occur.
  • Contact Jon Hayes (979) 249-7617 for the password to the online proposal form.
  • Click on the GRIP Proposal button below to begin your proposal. Keep in mind that there is no way to save your progress on a form and submit later so it helps to have the files and information you need readily accessible when you are ready to submit your proposal. If you have any questions about the process please contact OPJV staff for assistance.
